So I just did Abaddon's Mouth earlier with my monk. We headed in, a full 8 man team. The other monk decided to drop because "we weren't letting him cap an elite," even after I told him to lead the way. So we were down to 7 players with myself as the lone monk before we've even gone into the Mursaat section of the mountain (he dropped part way through the bonus side path, which leads to the Seer and the "back door" of the Mursaat area). But we decided to keep on going (I'm not sure why), and we got infusion for the player who hadn't been infused at all yet. Well, I'm glad we did, because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get this screenshot:

Let's just say that I'm a little stoked that we did it. Kudos to the other 6 for sticking in it and managing resurrections, and especially to the Wa/Mo who brought Healing Hands, which prevented a few deaths by buying my time to recharge skills. For those of you who're wondering, here's the build I was fiddling with when we went in (screened just after finishing):

Weapon: Kepkhet's Refuge (only one I used during the mission)
DF: 12+3
Protection: 12+4
Smiting: 3+1

Yes, I'll be sure to tell the monk we made it.

Go figure, you don't really need three (or even two) monks for some missions after all.

Just a little teamwork and a skilled set of players.

Yea, well done, theres a few extremely good monks out there that can do that, ive solo monked at hells, but we lost, because the 2 wammos aggroed another group while they were haggling for a green dye.....man...i wanted to eat them

i ran dual sups as a boon prot, because i didnt have a sup divine hat, so i had to use a piece of 55 armour and my normal sup prot hat

Nice work, but I think that is not a very hard job. I also joined a pug before and after mission start, the 2nd monk said he is smite monk

, so I must heal for 7 ppl but we still decided to continue and finished missions (Healing Seed ftw). The important thing is your teamwork and no one rushs.

I completed abaddon's mouth without a monk and only 4 other people because our two monks and everyone else had ditched after the bonus.

congrats to you it is a tough job.

Congrats to the OP. Looks like you had a decent team to pull that one off. Regarding other challenges: Here's my recent one-healer THK submission. Of course, someone might doubt that the other monk left early in the mission, so I am providing a screenshot showing bonus and the town giants still standing with the other monk greyed out.

This was after the March 9 update to OoB.

i've finished hells with only 5 people, me being the only monk.

the lich isnt that hard, his titans can be tricky though. shame i dont have a screenshot deleted them all as i had over 2gig's of them

I'm glad to see there's others who've done it to: like you said, it's good to see patience still exists in game. Too often a PUG will fall apart because people are "petty." It always makes me smile when I'm involved in pulling something off "against the odds."

I have one monked this mission two we just went in late at night and i was the only monk who was there it surprised me alot, Good Job
